Ryanair starts boarding card advertising

Ryanair has chosen to publish third party advertising on its boarding cards. The move follows the successful introduction of its 100% online check in service.

Ryanair mentioned that boarding card adverting allows a “highly valuable, targeted, integrated advertising campaign”.

According to the airline, this will allow advertisers to reach the 73 million Ryanair passengers that will print their boarding cards on their own in the next 12 months.

Ryanair’s new advertising service allows advertisers to reach a pan-European audience by integrating online and print advertising. Ryanair passengers refer to their boarding cards on a number of occasions during a trip – providing repeat exposure for advertisers, highlighted the airline.
